Reminder Regarding MI Future Educator Fellowship Processing for Academic Year 2024-2025
The following processing deadlines for Academic Year 2024-25 MI Future Educator Fellowship are coming soon.
Students who want to receive a MI Fellowship award for Academic Year 2024-25 must apply by June 15, 2025.
Institutions must complete applicants’ Confirmation of Eligibility by July 1, 2025.
The applicant must sign the Commitment to Teach In Michigan Agreement by July 15, 2025.
You will then have until our final payment deadline (August 12, 2025 at 5 PM) to complete reimbursement requests.
Students who apply but are not confirmed by the July 1 deadline will have their applications set to “No-Not Eligible”.
Student who are confirmed but do not sign by the July 15 deadline will have their Commitment to Teach in Michigan Agreements purged from the system and they will be unable to sign or receive an award in Academic Year 2024-25. We will issue one final reminder for students to sign their Commitment to Teach in Michigan Agreement with a personalized email to the students prior to the signing deadline. Please be mindful of these two important dates and help us to inform applicants and potential applicants of these upcoming deadlines so that no one is missed.
