In Academic Year 2024-25, MI Student Aid will be sending a month end GovDelivery recapping the communications shared that month. This is not an exhaustive list and we encourage you to review all previous messages. 

Winter/Spring Certification/Reimbursement Requests Now Open and More!

• To be included in the 2nd quarter payments, awards must be certified and reimbursements requested by the deadline of 5:00 p.m. on February 18, 2025.

• State Programs Procedures Manual Updates include:

  • Tuition Incentive Program TIP Phase 1 and Pell Reporting

  • Children of Veterans Tuition Grant Update

Update to MiSSG Reimbursement Request Error for Specific Programs

• The reimbursement request error that users were receiving for the Children of Veterans Tuition Grant (CVTG) and Police Officer’s and Fire Fighter’s Survivor Tuition Grant (STG) has been corrected.

• Review the updated MiSSG Michigan Achievement Scholarship Manual and MiSSG Community College Guarantee Manual.
