Great news! Michigan Achievement Scholarship Community College Guarantee is live in MiSSG for Academic Year 2024-25.
School Users who have been authorized to receive access to Michigan Achievement Scholarship via the MiSSG College Security Access Form will now be able to access the following:
- Eligible Students regardless of Student Aid Index (SAI).
- Information Roster and Eligible Student Report will display all eligible students.
- Pell Eligible status included in reports and student application information.
- Updates to verbiage in MiSSG to include the new Michigan Achievement Bonus Award.
Below are some changes you will see in MiSSG:
 Note: Ready to Certify amounts for eligible students at Community Colleges and Tribal Colleges will default to $0.00. During the certification process, these institutions will be required to request the allowable amount for the student. Additional information and training will be available soon.
Next Steps
- Our MiSSG Systems Team will continue testing certification, payments and adjustments.
- Correspondence will continue between MI Student Aid and the vendor to resolve and clear the issue log.
- MI Student Aid will continue to communicate with institutions on the status of the testing.
- MiSSG Systems Team is updating the MiSSG Manual.
- Certification training will be provided.
