New 2024-25 Deadlines
Clear Ineligible Reasons
- The deadline to clear ineligible reasons for Michigan Competitive Scholarship and Michigan Tuition Grant for 2024-25 is September 29, 2024.
Tuition Incentive Program Rate
- Community Colleges/Tribal Colleges and Public Universities must enter their TIP Rates in MiSSG by September 29, 2024.
MI Future Educator Fellowship

Application Deadline: June 15, 2025. The 2024-25 MI Fellowship application deadline is June 15, 2025.

Confirmation of Eligibility Deadline: July 1, 2025. Institutions will be required to confirm eligibility by July 1, 2025. Any student not confirmed by that date will be moved to “Ineligible” in MiSSG automatically.

Signing Deadline: July 15, 2025. Any confirmed student must sign the Commitment to Teach in Michigan Agreement by July 15, 2025. Any student who does not sign as required will be moved to “Ineligible” in MiSSG automatically and have their Commitment to Teach in Michigan Agreement removed from OneSpan so it cannot be completed. Late signatures will not be accepted.
- Institutions will continue to have until our final payment deadline (August 12, 2025 at 5:00 p.m.) to request reimbursement.
- These deadlines are published on our Web site and will be added to messaging screens in the MiSSG Student Portal.

2025-26 FAFSA Deadline
- The deadline to submit the 2025-26 FASFA for Michigan Competitive Scholarship and Michigan Tuition Grant is July 1, 2025.
