Exciting news! Institutions can now individually transfer students in MiSSG from the Summary Data page. School Users with MiSSG Administrator 1 level access are able to complete this process.
MI Student Aid encourages School Users to watch the Individual Student Transfer Process training video and review instructions to complete a student transfer in MiSSG.
Institutions may transfer students for Academic Year 2024-25 during the following time frames in each semester.
- Fall Transfer Begin Date: 7/1/2024
- Fall Transfer End Date: 11/13/2024
- Winter Transfer Begin Date: 11/16/2024
- Winter Transfer End Date: 2/20/2025
- Spring Transfer Begin Date: 11/16/2024
- Spring Transfer End Date: 5/5/2025
- Summer Transfer Begin Date: 5/8/2025
- Summer Transfer End Date: 8/1/2025
As a reminder, the preferred method to transfer a student record is via the student utilizing their MiSSG Student Portal account. Students who need to transfer their MiSSG record to a different institution can either update it in their MiSSG Student Portal or call us at 888-447-2687 for assistance. Our office has created instructions for students to assist in the transfer process.
