Winter/Spring Certification/Reimbursement Requests Will be Available January 4, 2024
Following the Payment Schedule, institutions may begin certifying awards/requesting reimbursements for the Winter/Spring 2024 term/semester beginning January 4th, 2024! Institutions may also continue certifying awards/requesting reimbursements for the Fall 2023 term/semester.
Students who are eligible for Michigan Achievement Scholarship must have their Fall Certification completed in order for Winter/Spring information in MiSSG to be as accurate as possible. MI Student Aid encourages institutions to complete all Fall Certifications for Michigan Achievement Scholarship prior to certifying for Winter/Spring.
 Bulk Student Update Reminder
Institutions should review students who are attending their institution to the students who are on their program rosters in MiSSG.
MI Student Aid offers the opportunity to request students be transferred to their institution via the Bulk Student Transfer Process. MI Student Aid strongly encourages institutions to complete this process as soon as possible prior to the January 4th Certification and Reimbursement opening date for Quarter 2.
Holiday Hours
MI Student Aid will be closed the following dates:
- December 22 and December 25
- December 29 and January 1
Additional Support and Training Opportunities
In an effort to provide additional support and training opportunities, MI Student Aid will be hosting virtual open office hours in 2024. This space is available to ask program questions, get technical troubleshooting advice and more.
