It has been reported that several licensed home providers were the target
of a scam. The providers received emails from an individual stating she was from England and that she was looking for
child care for 3 weeks. She stated the company she worked for would pay
all expenses.
The
providers gave the individual their rates and shortly after received checks (that
looked suspicious) in the mail for $4000.00. The providers had no phone number
for this individual so they emailed the person and stated the check was not
correct. The individual requested the providers to deposit the checks and go to
Western Union and send $1500.
Please be aware that this is a scam.
