Michigan Gaming Control Board In-Person and Virtual Public Meeting Notice
Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2024, 9:30 a.m.
Cadillac Place Board Hearing Room and via Zoom

The Michigan Gaming Control Board will hold its regularly scheduled meeting at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2024, at the MGCB’s Cadillac Place Office, 3062 W. Grand Blvd., Suite L-700, Detroit, MI 48202-6062. Cadillac Place is in Detroit’s New Center Area near the John Lodge Freeway (M-10) between Second Avenue and Cass Avenue. Please enter through the building’s main entrance on West Grand Boulevard. The Fisher Building is a nearby landmark.

The meeting’s purpose is to conduct Board business regarding the implementation, administration, and enforcement of the provisions of the Michigan Gaming Control & Revenue Act, MCL 432.201 through 432.226, related to the licensing, regulation, and conduct of casino gaming in the City of Detroit; Lawful Internet Gaming Act, MCL 432.301 through 432.322, related to the licensing, regulation, and conduct of Internet gaming in the State of Michigan; the Lawful Sports Betting Act, MCL 432.401 through 432.419, related to the licensing, regulation, and conduct of Internet sports betting in the State of Michigan; and, any other matter properly before the Board.

The meeting is open to the public and questions, comments, and suggestions from the public  regarding Board business and the licensing, regulation, and conduct of casino gaming in Detroit under the Act  are welcomed and encouraged during the public comment portion of the meeting.

The MGCB asks you to submit a Public Sign In Sheet form (www.michigan.gov/mgcb/about/board-meeting-schedule-and-agendas) to MGCBweb@michigan.gov by 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10, to notify us you plan to address the Board during the public comment period. Please include your phone number on the form. You may also use the chat area in the Zoom meeting to indicate you wish to speak during public comment. Please provide your name and phone number, and you will be placed in the queue.

Persons who may need additional assistance to address the Board at the meeting are asked to contact Karen Finch via email at MGCBweb@michigan.gov or by phone at 313-456-4100 during normal business hours. We ask that you make this request at least 24 hours in advance, if possible.
