iGaming, sports betting operators report $220.86M in July revenue
Monthly Gross Receipts
July iGaming gross receipts totaled $191.44 million and gross sports betting receipts totaled $29.42 million. In June, iGaming gross receipts were $183.2 million and gross sports betting receipts were $30.9 million.
Monthly Adjusted Gross Receipts
Combined total iGaming and internet sports betting adjusted gross receipts (AGR) for July were $189.5 million, including $172.3 million from iGaming and $17.2 million from internet sports betting — representing an iGaming increase of 4.7% and a sports betting increase of $45.4 million when compared to last month. Compared to July 2023, iGaming AGR was up by 24.7% and sports betting was up by 5.2%.
Monthly Handle
Total July internet sports betting handle of $250.2 million was down by 9.6% from the $276.8 million handle recorded in June 2024.
Monthly State Taxes/Payments
The operators reported submitting $37.1 million in taxes and payments to the State of Michigan during July, of which:

iGaming taxes and fees = $36.0 million

Internet sports betting taxes and fees = $1.1 million
The three Detroit casinos reported paying the City of Detroit $9.11 million in wagering taxes and municipal services fees during July, of which:

iGaming taxes and fees = $8.8 million

Internet sports betting taxes and fees = $311,475
Tribal operators reported making $4.5 million in payments to governing bodies in July.
