Taylor Special Care Services, a CARF accredited
human services organization committed to serving people with mental illness and
other special needs, is currently seeking applicants for three positions at its
Southfield location.

Administrative
Assistant
- This position is responsible for performing all standard office
administrative duties as assigned by Taylor Special Care Services, Inc.,
Administration and supervisor. This position reports to the Office Manager and
the Administration, and primary duties include handling all clerical and phone
activities, scheduling interviews and screening job applicants, and maintaining proper filing and database
information. The ideal candidate will have received an associate degree in
business or a related field, and have two years of responsible part-time or
full-time clerical experience.

Area Manager - This position is
responsible for assisting the VP of Programs in planning, developing,
coordinating, implementing, and evaluating the overall projects and
schedules of Taylor’s Special Care Services. The Area Manager will provide
oversight for home managers, assistant managers and direct care workers to
ensure specifications are being followed and work is proceeding on schedule
as mandated. The Area Manager is a full-time salaried employee with full
benefits. Primary responsibilities include developing an effective plan and
scheduling for completion of projects, day-to-day project oversight, review of
compliance audit reports and corrective action plans, and supervision of staff.
The ideal candidate will hold a B.A. or B.S. in a health care related field,
with experience managing direct care workers and dealing with complex
activities.

Direct Care Worker – The Direct Care
Worker delivers treatment, care, assistance, direction and provides supervision
to clients who are under Taylor’s Special Care Services. The DCW shall ensure
that all clients are safe, their living needs are satisfied, health needs are
met and their Individual Plan of Service is followed as written. Services shall
be implemented within a very strict, regulatory environment and each DCW is
required to adhere to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as
well as licensing certification and contractual requirements. This position
reports to the Home Manager.

of the Technical Writer include creating, maintaining, and updating a variety
of detailed and technical user documents, website management, effective verbal
and written communication, and submitting documentation for formal reviews.
This position requires excellent communication skills, proficiency with
Microsoft Suite and Adobe Suite, and the ability to work independently.

Officers are an integral part of the Criminal Justice system in the State of
Michigan. They oversee and participate
in the custody, security, and treatment of prisoners in correctional
facilities. Corrections Officers also
ensure prisoners’ compliance with institutional rules and regulations.
Corrections
Officers work at correctional facilities throughout the Upper and Lower
Peninsulas of Michigan. They are
assigned to a variety of positions within the prison such as housing units,
yard, control center, visiting room, front desk and school.
Corrections
Officers have numerous career advancement opportunities. They can become sergeants, corrections
resident representatives, prison counselors, corrections program coordinators

The
Lead Engineer –
Seating
will be responsible for complete and complex engineering projects, including
all parts and products of a complete seat or structure. Responsibilities of the
Lead Engineer – Seating include the following:
- Formulates,
recommends, and implements as phases of a project to complete it within budget
and to meet customer determined project milestones and completion target dates
- Produces
designs that are feasible and economical to produce in the manufacturing
facilities and processes available
- Provides
alternative design solutions, analyses, justifications, and recommendations at
the concept stage, facilitates selection of designs that achieve the best
possible trade-off cost, timing, innovation, and performance
- Contributes
to manufacturing performance and customer service by assisting in the solution
production or quality problems associated with the design
The
ideal candidate will possess a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and a minimum
five years of experience in automotive seating, including metal trim
development and some project engineer experience.
