attend a cultural event. College students gain knowledge of the exciting things
happening here, and can better determine if Detroit is the place for them after
graduation.

Scientist/Manager at its Wixom facilities. This position will be
responsible for the coordination of stability testing at contract manufacturing
laboratories, while also ensuring that all development activities are in
compliance with applicable regulations and guidelines.
The ideal candidate will have a
B.S. in Chemistry, Biology, or a related field, with five+ years of experience in
product development with the pharmaceutical industry. Candidates should also
possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an
understanding of the drug development process and regulatory requirements for
the development process and manufacturing.

 Michigan Works! Northeast Consortium (MW!NC) is proud to announce that we have partnered with the National Hardwood Lumber Association (NHLA) to bring its Lumber Inspector Training to the State of Michigan. The lumber inspector is a hard-to-fill position in the lumber business as this training is typically only available through NHLA, located in Memphis, TN. This partnership has paved the way for MW!NC to host the Lumber Inspector Training in Frederic, Michigan. The classes will being on March 10 and graduation will be May 15. The classes run Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and will be in the Frederic Township Hall.
The cost for the school is $2,604 plus up to $200 in additional fees. Training slots are limited and the deadline to register and submit payment in full will be February 10. The school is officially approved by the Veteran’s Administration to administer GI Bill benefits. You can learn more about the school and the training at www.nhla.com.

The senior accountant will be responsible for assisting with the completion of grant applications, budgets, fund requests, and final expenditure reports, in addition to the preparation and analytical review of financial information for administrative-level decision-making.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business, with a minimum of three years’ experience with computerized accounting systems, and the ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks.
