around the state and Midwest. Employers will be given a high top table at the

An experienced
consultant and business advisor for clients across commercial, government and
non-profit sectors. JC is currently seeking a role focused on driving strategy
development, improving operations, and connecting business and government
partners. JC is currently a senior manager with one of the big four consulting
firms, where he recently served as the chief of staff for a $1.4bn, 6,700
person business unit. In this role, JC was responsible for managing the
execution of the firm’s strategy and executive committee priorities. JC
has led consulting projects across multiple commercial industries and federal
government cabinet level agencies, focusing on strategy, business
transformation and performance management. JC also co-led the firm’s innovation
fellows program and internal think tank. JC’s other experiences include
representing clients at the World Economic Forum, serving as a director of a
national non-profit, and serving as a faculty member on two international
delegations. After a decade on the east coast, he’s ready to move back to
Michigan to be part of the economic transformation and innovation
shaping Michigan's future. JC is a graduate of Harvard’s John F. Kennedy
School of Government with a master’s degree in public policy and a proud alum

The Michigan Values
Veterans Conference is
scheduled on Friday, November 1, 2013 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the
KVCC-Groves Center, located at 7107 Elm Valley Drive in Kalamazoo.
The one-day conference is a free
event offered to local businesses. It intends to introduce participants to
leaders from local companies that already have strong programs in place and
learn how to translate veteran job experience to match current hiring needs,
obtain resources for accessing able veterans and access programs that offer
assistance in training new employees or offsetting payroll expenses.

Friday, November 15, the University of Michigan will host the 8th
annual Engineering Graduate Symposium (EGS), an exciting gathering of current
engineering graduate students, faculty members, prospective graduate students
and industry partners.
