Transitioning from a
military career into a civilian job can be challenging. In fact, Michigan’s
jobless rate for veterans of the 9/11 era is one of America’s highest. AT&T recognizes this and is dedicated to
supporting the military through events and programs, hiring a large percentage
of military veterans and maintaining policies that ensure that reservist
employees and their families continue to receive compensation when the soldier
is called to active duty.
Through its Careers4Vets program, AT&T offers online
tools to make the job search easier for veterans, including a Talent Network
and a Job Search Advisor Program. AT&T’s recruitment strategies reach
hundreds of diversity, disability and veteran career sites, making the search
for a new career even easier.
