The Valiant Dynamic’s story began with a dream and three partners willing to do the work. The partners are Todd Olson, Trevor Jerdee, and Charlie Raymond. The dream was the EvolvR Combat Stock.
Todd is a Marine Corps Veteran, and Professional Contract Manager with over 14 years of contract award and management experience in support of Warfighter Equipment Land, Air, Sea, and Space Vehicles. Trevor is a Mechanical Engineer who brings his experience designing US Navy warheads prior to entering the tactical industry to design body armor packages and tactical accessories for Military and Law Enforcement, and then there is Charlie.
Charlie is the Industrial Designer who while pursuing his creative passion of utilizing anthropomorphic data to develop body armor vests and tactical gear for elite Special Operation Warfighters and local Law Enforcement Officers had a dream in 2014 that became the initial designs of the EvolvR Combat Stock.
The three met while working in the protective solutions industry and after several years of concepts, discussions and drawings; in 2020 Valiant Dynamics was formed. Bringing the project to life involved concept sketches of The EvolvR (Evolution Rotating Butt-Pad), getting the patent process started, and creating 3D printed prototypes. Over 16 months, the prototypes were tested, evaluated, and continuously improved. Feedback was received from SWAT trainers, federal law enforcement trainers, police officers and military veterans, and the EvolvR’s design was finalized.

It also provided a stable platform when firing from multiple positions. I found it very comfortable and I was able to get a solid grip on my natural shooting position, which I always found myself adjusting on my armor and carriers in the past.” – Patrol Officer
The common problem of gear in the shoulder, preventing access to the shoulder pocket, is always discussed at trade shows, expos, and industry days by warfighters, law enforcement professionals, and special operators.
