The Field Report is a monthly newsletter highlighting current trends in arts and culture, MCACA staff and board features, and other info of interest to our statewide clients.
Great news! Now that the Governor has approved and signed the state budget, MCACA is excited to move forward with our FY21 funding process and grant awards announcement. Please make plans to join us virtually via Microsoft Teams (information below) on Thursday October 15 beginning at 1 pm. The agenda for the meeting is as follows:
- FY21 funding plan presentation
- Services to the Field Partner Reports: Cultural Advocacy Network of Michigan & Michigan Arts Education Instruction & Assessment
Once council members have approved the proposed funding plan, MCACA will post a link to our website (links will be located at the bottom of our home page) which will list grant awards by program and by county. This link will be live within 2 hours of the close of the council meeting that day.
Those organizations awarded an FY21 grant will receive a formal contract in the mail after the Oct 15 council meeting announcing their grant award and next steps.

FY20 Final Reports Due Oct 31
Just a friendly reminder that fiscal year 2020 final reports are due October 31, 2020. Look in section five of your grant agreement to find your exact due date. Final reports may be submitted before the due date. Please submit your final report through eGrant (https://mcaca.egrant.net).
MCACA will not process fiscal year 2021 payments until the fiscal year 2020 final report is approved. You can find the final report guidelines on our website here. If you have any questions regarding your final report, you may contact one of our staff members and we will be happy to help.
