Join the Great Lakes St. Lawrence Governors & Premiers trade mission to Vietnam and the Philippines, and visit the cities of Ho Chi Minh and Manila. Participants will receive a customized schedule of B2B meetings with prospective customers and business partners. Participants will also benefit from networking events and logistical support provided by the GSGP South East Asia Trade Office.
Vietnam and the Philippines have a combined population of 200 million. South East Asia markets are growing at over 7% per year, and, since 2009, U.S. exports to Vietnam have increased by 330%.
Included Services: Mission briefing, group ground transportation, networking events, logistical assistance, and customized B2B matchmaking meetings. International airfare, interpreters, hotels, individual transportation, and meals not included.
Financial Assistance: Cost to participate is $1,500 per company and each additional representative is $500. Eligible companies may qualify for MI-STEP Grant funds to offset 50% of the cost to travel (including airfare, hotels, transportation, etc.).
