Mobility startups now have access to more than $1 million in funding through the PlanetM Startup Grants, thanks to a new statewide program that provides mobility startups with more and better opportunities to validate and prove new technologies in Michigan.
There are two types of grants available through the PlanetM Startup Grants: one is for piloting mobility technologies on Michigan roadways, and the other is for testing mobility technologies in a closed environment. Both grants will fuel advancements in technology to solve transportation challenges and make Michigan a leading state for testing and deploying mobility startup technologies.
The PlanetM Pilot Grant will be deployed in three rounds, with the following application deadline dates: October 1, February 3, June 2. The PlanetM Testing Grant applications will be accepted on a rolling basis.
Who’s eligible? Mobility startups (defined as less than 10 years since founding; fewer than 100 employees; non-public, and worth less than $500 million) inside and outside of Michigan.
Where? Across the state of Michigan
