2018 UN Procurement Day
PMBC is working with the United Nations and its affiliate organizations to host its first-ever 2018 United Nations Procurement Day. The goal of this initiative is to help various commodity buyers and managers from the UN identify suppliers for immediate opportunities across several industries including Aerospace, Agriculture, Automotive, Construction, Defense, Engineering, Healthcare and many more.
Suppliers will hear from the top four UN procuring organizations who will discuss how to find and do business with their organizations. In addition, suppliers will have an opportunity to:
- Become a registered vendor in the United Nations Global Marketplace (UNGM), for prolonged access to ongoing and future procurement opportunities.
- Meet with resource partners including the US Commercial Service, the SBA, PTAC and the MEDC International Trade team to learn about global exporting, logistics and other business services available to their companies.
If selected, suppliers will participate in 1:1 meetings with UN procurement teams to discuss immediate opportunities.
The summit will feature an educational morning session with presentations from the four participating UN affiliates, with an afternoon of meetings based on the commodity areas represented in the supplier application.
