Join Pure Michigan for an exciting
night at Comerica Park on Friday, June 1 as the Detroit Tigers take on the Toronto
Blue Jays. The ceremonial first pitch will be thrown out at 7:10 ET by Linda
Hoath, lifelong Michigan resident and executive director of the Sault Area
Convention and Visitors Bureau.
At this year’s Pure Michigan night at Comerica Park, the first 10,000 fans will
receive a custom Detroit Tigers-Pure Michigan koozie. In addition, one lucky
attendee will win a ticket to a Tigers game and a Detroit Tigers-Pure Michigan
T-shirt. Tickets to the game are still available.
As part of the evening, Pure Michigan will be recognizing the city of Sault
Ste. Marie, which is celebrating its 350th birthday this year and is
Michigan’s first city.
“Pure Michigan night at Comerica
Park is an excellent opportunity to celebrate our fans and help elevate
awareness about Michigan to a national audience, and we’re excited to
participate again this year,” said Dave Lorenz, Vice President of Travel
Michigan, part of the Michigan Economic Development Corporation. “This event is
a great way to bring people to downtown Detroit and celebrate our partnership
with the Detroit Tigers.”
