When it comes to growing their customer base and increasing
their market diversity, Brighton-based Tri-County Supply, Inc. continues to
turn to Pure Michigan Business Connect (PMBC). Over the past four years, Tri-County
Supply has attend a number of PMBC events and has gained approximately $1
million worth of contracts from connections formed during their matchmaking
summits.
“Business today is all about networking,” Tri-County Supply
co-owner Kevin Gee said. “The networking at the Pure Michigan Business Connect
summits are one of the biggest tools and resources you can get.”
As an initiative of the Michigan Economic Development
Corporation (MEDC), PMBC connects local and global purchasers to suppliers of
Michigan goods and services. Through a variety of summits held throughout the
year, PMBC facilitates one-on-one meetings and networking opportunities that
allow companies to forge partnerships and grow their businesses.
Tri-County Supply staff getting in the holiday spirit
As a full-service supplier of janitorial and industrial services
and supplies, Tri-County Supply already had a solid foundation of customers and
about 20 years of experience under their belts. However, based on their desire
to continue to grow their business and tap into new opportunities, they
attended their first event, the PMBC Consumers Energy Summer Summit, in 2014.
At the event, Tri-County Supply was able to network and
showcase their products through one-on-one meetings with representatives with
Consumers, the largest public utility corporation in Michigan. Based on the success
they experienced, Tri-County Supply went on to attend several other summits in
the coming years including PMBC’s DTE Energy Supplier Immersion Day and the
Pure Michigan Automotive Summit.
“Business today is all about networking,” Gee said. “Someone
knows a person that can use our services or products.”
Now entering their 25th year of business, Tri-County Supply
is a multi-million dollar industry-leading company that continues to seek new
opportunities at PMBC summits throughout Michigan. For more information about
