America's Thanksgiving Parade

Recognized as one of the best holiday parades in the country, America’s Thanksgiving Parade presented by Art Van is celebrating its 91st anniversary. Stepping off in downtown Detroit, the iconic parade will feature celebrities including Smokey Robinson and Jimmy Fallon, larger-than-life balloons, marching bands and specialty groups.  On Thanksgiving morning, the city will also host an estimated 20,000 runners participating in one of the nation’s largest 10k racesthe 35th Strategic Staffing Solutions Turkey Trot.
