Senior Web Administrator with the State of Michigan

Through its customer service, resource optimization and the innovative use of information and technology, the State of Michigan's Department of Technology, Management and Budget (DTMB) touches every area of state government. Our broad spectrum of responsibility, ranging from technology solutions to procurement and facilities management, improves how Michigan interacts with citizens and businesses every day.

DTMB is currently seeking a Senior Web Administrator in Lansing. This position functions as a senior level IT analyst supporting the application infrastructure for the Michigan Department of Education (MDE). The position is responsible for the management of web applications including monitoring, tuning, troubleshooting, and optimizing the applications and the servers hosting them. The person in this position will assist the web development team and database administrators with the management of internet, intranet, and middleware hosting servers and providing guidance and training to those staff as needed.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree with 21 semester (32 term) credits in computer science, data processing, computer information, data communications, networking, systems analysis, computer programming or mathematics, along with three years of professional experience equivalent to an Information Technology Infrastructure or Programmer/Analyst P11.

Maintenance Technician - This position is accountable for facility physical maintenance, including maintaining, troubleshooting and monitoring electrical, mechanical and computer systems. Ensuring the continuous facility operations through development and implementation of equipment maintenance schedules based on the requirements of each device is critical to this role.

Pharmacy Technician - Under the supervision of a Pharmacist, this position refills and replenishes prescription requests in an automated central fill pharmacy setting, while also preparing packages and distributing medications in a fast-paced production environment, maintain quality and a continuous, consistent work flow in order to meet daily production goals.
