Maintenance Technician Opening with Nyloncraft

Nyloncraft

Nyloncraft is a thermoplastics molder on a strong growth track. As part of this growth, the company is looking to expand and deepen its manufacturing talent by adding to the team. A current open position for a Maintenance Technician (2nd and 3rd shift) is now available, reporting directly to the Manufacturing Manager.

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the following:

  • Maintain, install, and repair equipment or systems of the plant.
  • Observe and comply with safety precautions.
  • Use of strong electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, troubleshooting, and repair skills to maintain and improve equipment.
  • Assist with the creation of fixtures and tools using metal fabrication and welding skills.

The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma, with trade or vocational school certifications desired, along with three to five years of experience with plastics processing equipment and robotics.

2016 Livingston Regional Job Fair

Where: Crystal Gardens Banquet Center (5768 E. Grand River Ave., Howell, MI 48843)

Time: 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

At the 2016 Livingston Regional Job Fair, local job seekers will be able to connect with dozens of area companies who are looking to hire. This free event, with over 60 companies, will be open from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Job seekers should be prepared to meet with these potential employers, provide a current resume or work history, and complete applications. Some exhibitors may also be conducting brief interviews at the event.

In addition to meeting directly with employers, job seekers will have the opportunity to attend workshops and meet with educational institutions and community organizations that can help meet your career goals. A Veterans Resource table will be available to assist veterans, active duty military, National Guard and reserves. Human resources professionals will be available throughout the day to provide a quick critique of your resume. There will even be a massage therapist available to provide a free chair massage to job seekers!

Once you register, print your online ticket and bring it with you to the Job Fair to be entered in the door prize raffle.
