Digital Brand Marketing Manager with LevelSet Solutions

  • Manage and oversee digital marketing activities for assigned accounts, ensuring all deliverables and expectations are met, which could include but are not limited to: website updates, content development, email marketing, social media marketing, CRM management, PPC, campaigns, mobile apps, creative development, SEO and overall reporting and analysis.

Requirements for this position include an understanding og Google Analytics and Adwords, the ability to clearly articulate thoughts, ideas, and concepts and communicate effectively in-person and on calls, three to five years of experience working with clients in the digital marketing industry, and a minimum of a bachelor's degree with a major in marketing or advertising.

Apprenticeship Opportunities with The Dow Chemical Company

Qualifications for the apprenticeship positions include:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • A minimum GPA of 2.7 out of 4.0
  • If any college level coursework has been completed, a minimum GPA of 2.7 out of 4.0 is preferred.
  • Must have completed coursework in algebra and natural or physical science.

Physical requirements include the ability to lift 50 pounds, be able to work all applicable shifts on a rotating basis (including weekends and holidays) and overtime, when needed.

    Responsibilities for this position include the following:

    • Hook and unhook trailers from tractors, including crank lever to raise and lower landing gear on semi-trailer.
    • Load and unload trailer, either individually or with assistance, with or without mechanical freight-handling equipment.
    • Perform lifting, pulling, pushing, and carrying of freight.
    • Knowledge and follow all Department of Transportation Hours of Service Regulations at all times.
    • Apply knowledge of commercial driving and skill in maneuvering vehicle at varying speeds in difficult situations, such as heavy traffic, inclement weather, or in tight loading dock areas.

    Qualified drivers must meet all qualifications of section 391 and 383 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations. Applicants must be at least 24 years old and have one year of recent OTR tractor/trailer experience.

    Natural Gas Boot Camp Free Training Opportunity Announcement

    Are you a veteran? If so, DTE Energy, Oakland Community College and Detroit Employment Solutions Corporation are offering a free training opportunity for veterans to gain a better understanding on what it takes to become a Gas Maintenance Fitter Apprentice in southeast Michigan.

    The Natural Gas Boot Camp will hold an initial orientation overview of the gas operations training on Monday, June 29 and from July 6 through August 14, 2015 at Oakland Community College's Southfield campus and DTE Technical Training facility located in Melvindale. A boot camp is a Pre-Apprentice Certificate Training (PACT) program designed to prepare veterans with valuable, transferable skill sets with an opportunity to prepare to enter the energy sector workforce. There are 30 available seats for training with a potential for employment in September 2015. While there is no guarantee of employment, students who successfully complete the training will receive a career readiness certification, which is an acknowledgement of skills and knowledge attained in this training and valued across the natural gas utility industry.

    The six week coursework will cover natural gas and utility industry fundamental concepts, DTE Energy's job specific training, along with practical exercises and safety training to help candidates be ready to perform the job requirements for gas maintenance fitter apprentices.

    Those interested should have at least a high school diploma or GED, less than six points on their driving record, be able to pass a behavioral and physical job task assessment, and successfully complete a background check prior to the start of training.

    Interested veterans should provide the following no later than Monday, June 15:

    • Proof of high school or GED completion.
    • Driving record that shows less than 6 points.
    • DD-214 Military Service Record
    • Updated resume reflecting military experience.
