M-30 roundabout project starts
tomorrow in Sanford

PROJECT DETAILS:
The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will construct a modern roundabout on M-30 over US-10 at the westbound on and off ramps to US-10.
TRAFFIC IMPACT:
Stage 1 - Traffic will be maintained using single-lane closures on M-30 through mid-May.
Stage 2 - M-30 traffic will be maintained using temporary traffic signals. The westbound US-10 on and off ramps will be closed and traffic detoured south on Stark Road and west on Saginaw Road to M-30. M-30 traffic heading for westbound US-10 will go west on Saginaw Road and north on West River Road to westbound US-10. Stage 2 is expected to be completed by mid-June.
Stage 3 - M-30 will be detoured for 14 days. Northbound M-30 traffic will enter eastbound US-10 and then head north on Stark Road and west on Shaffer Road to M-30. Southbound M-30 traffic will go east on Shaffer Road, south on Stark Road, and west on Saginaw Road to M-30. Stage 3 is expected to be completed by the end of June.
