Open: NB US-131, Mecosta County, August 14

 

Northbound US-131 over 3 Mile Road is now open.

A single-lane closure for bridge demolition will be in place 6 a.m. tomorrow (Saturday) on northbound US-131 just south of 3 Mile Road.  Northbound US-131 will be comletely closed 3 p.m. tomorrow through 9 p.m. Thursday, August 14.   Detour: Exit Northbound US-131 at Jefferson Road (Exit 125) and head east to Northland Drive then north to 8 Mile Road and west to northbound US-131.  The road will be closed to demolish and remove the old bridge, and slide the new bridge into place. Please note: Northland Drive is closed for a county project between Pierson (Exit 114) and Howard City (Exit 118).
