MDOT installing 20 carpool spaces at M-46

Meijer parking lot in Shields

PROJECT DETAILS:

Twenty parking spaces will be set aside for motorists in a designated area at the Meijer parking lot on M-46 in the village of Shields, Thomas Township. A crew from the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will begin installing signs for the carpool lot today, with completion expected by 6 p.m.

The spaces will be open to carpools immediately once the signs are installed.
