MDOT to hold a public meeting on Old M-14 reconstruction in Wayne County
WHAT:
An open house-style meeting to discuss an Environmental Assessment for possible reconstruction of Old M-14 in the city of Livonia. The proposed project, extending from west of Newburgh Road to east of Market Street, includes the addition of right-turn lanes on Newburgh Road, and replacement of the Old M-14 bridge over the Middle Rouge River and the Hines Drive bridge over Old-M-14. MDOT is inviting the public to give input on environmental concerns and invites questions or comments about the project.

BACKGROUND:
The project also includes a new sidewalk along the west side of Old M-14 from Newburgh to Plymouth roads, and a paved pathway connecting the Old M-14 and Hines Drive sidewalk.
