Ahead of schedule:
November 4, 2013 -- Crews from the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) have completed construction on US-127 from Long Lake Road north to the Clare/Roscommon county line. Work on this 4.3-mile-long project wrapped up one week ahead of schedule. The overall project included resurfacing and pavement repairs. "Motorists traveling on US-127 will enjoy a smoother and safer ride along this stretch of highway," said Mt. Pleasant Transportation Service Center Manager Bill Mayhew. ###
