SECC campaign is Sept. 9 through Oct. 11

The State Employees Charitable Campaign (SECC) fundraising campaign begins Sept. 9. The SECC supports a variety of causes, from health care, education and the environment to programs for kids and seniors. MDOT will hold a kick-off event on Monday, Sept. 9, from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Lakeshore Learning Center at the Van Wagoner Building in Lansing. Planned activities include:

Mark Chaput, SECC campaign chair, and Mike Trout, vice-chair, and their team of volunteers will be enlisting your support over the next four weeks and continue to communicate Lansing campaign event information. Please take a minute to talk with your work area volunteer about the various ways you can support the campaign, or visit www.misecc.org for more details. Congratulations to Mary Cumberworth
Mary Cumberworth of Finance and Administration was the lucky winner of a gift certificate for a 16-inch pizza from DeLuca's at last month's Nacho Mania event in the Van Wagoner Building. The well-attended lunchtime event raised money for the Harvest Gathering, which benefits the Food Bank Council of Michigan.
