Bridge demolition requires closing Inkster Road under I-94 next week

Beginning at 6 a.m. Monday, Sept. 21, bridge demolition crews will close northbound and southbound Inkster Road under I-94.

Northbound Inkster Road traffic will be detoured to westbound Goddard Road, to northbound Middlebelt Road, to eastbound Ecorse Road, back to northbound Inkster Road.

Southbound Inkster Road traffic will use westbound Ecorse Road to southbound Middlebelt Road, to eastbound Goddard Road back to southbound Inkster Road.

Weather permitting, both directions of Inkster Road are expected to open by 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 24.
