NB I-75 CLOSING Schaefer to Springwells Fri-Mon
NB I-75 will close from Schaefer to Springwells for bridge maintenance to add a protective surface to four bridges and an epoxy overlay to the I-75 Rouge River Bridge.
9pm Friday, 7/10 – 5am Monday, 7/13/26:
- NB I-75, Schaefer to Springwells, will be CLOSED.
Detours:
Freeway Detour - NB I-75 to NB I-275 to EB I-94 to EB I-96 to NB I-75
Local Detour - M-85/Fort St is an alternate route
6pm Friday, 7/10 – 5am Monday, 7/13/26, on/off ramps to NB I-75 will begin closing earlier to control traffic volumes for freeway closure:
- NB/SB M-39/Southfield
- Outer Dr
- NB/SB Schaefer Rd
- NB I-75 to Dearborn St
- NB I-75 to Springwells St
