White Lake Drive remains closed over
US-31 until spring for bridge repair
WHITEHALL, Mich. - In partnership with the Muskegon County Road Commission, the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will repair the White Lake Drive bridge decks over northbound and southbound US-31. The bridge was closed on Tuesday, Jan. 6, due to poor deck conditions. Subzero weather has slowed down the work and consistently warmer temperatures are necessary before concrete can be poured. Crews will address the northbound structure first and then move on to the bridge over southbound US-31.

Traffic restrictions:
White Lake Drive will remain closed and lane closures will remain in effect on US-31. The northbound US-31 off ramp to White Lake Drive is also closed.
