M-29 advisory for Macomb County

Reminder: M-29/Green Street, New Baltimore Advisory Friday, 9/26/25

Now through 7pm Thursday, 10/2, eastbound M-29/Green Street will be CLOSED from Huntley Street to Murdick Drive for construction. Westbound M-29/Green St will have ONE LANE OPEN.

Eastbound M-29/Green St traffic will be detoured via eastbound Main Street to eastbound M-29/Green St/Main St).

This work is part of a $3.2 million investment on M-29 (23 Mile Road, Green Street, and Main Street) between Baker Road and the St. Clair County line to resurface the road, upgrade sidewalk curb ramps, pedestrian traffic signal improvements, and restripe permanent pavement markings in the city of New Baltimore and Chesterfield Township.
