Travel Advisory – M-99 closures in Albion, Sept. 8 - 17

As part of the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) project to repair I-94 Business Loop (BL) and M-99 in Albion, M-99 will be closed between Ash Street and Vine Street from Monday, Sept. 8, through Wednesday, Sept. 17, while crews re-seal the brick pavement.

The work will be done in two phases.

The first phase will be from Ash Street to Michigan Avenue. While those two intersections will remain open to east- and westbound traffic, M-99 traffic will be detoured on Irwin Avenue, Eaton Street, I-94 BL (Austin Street), Superior Street, and Michigan Avenue.

The second phase will have the M-99 and Michigan Avenue intersection closed to traffic, as well as M-99 from Michigan Avenue to Vine Street. Traffic will be detoured on I-94 BL, B Drive North, 29 Mile Road, and I-94 BL/M-99.
