Eastbound M-3 (23 Mile Road) closed overnight Aug. 2 from Gratiot Avenue to I-94 in Macomb County

CHESTERFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. - Beginning at 9 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 2, through 10 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 3, eastbound M-3 (23 Mile Road) will be closed from Gratiot Avenue to I-94 for resurfacing in Macomb County. Westbound M-3 (23 Mile Road) will have at least one lane open. 

This work is part of an $8 million investment on M-3 (Gratiot Avenue and 23 Mile Road) between Sandpiper Drive and I-94 to resurface the road, upgrade sidewalk curb ramps, improve drainage, repair guardrail and restripe permanent pavement markings.

Based on economic modeling, this $8 million investment is expected to directly and indirectly support 76 jobs.
