Travel Advisory – I-194 ramps closing at Columbia Avenue in Battle Creek July 15 – Aug. 5

The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will be closing the ramp from M-96 (Columbia Avenue) to northbound I-194, and the ramp from southbound I-194 to Columbia Avenue from Tuesday, July 15, through Tuesday, Aug. 5, while contractors complete curb and gutter, concrete patches, and HMA paving on the ramps.
The detour for the northbound I-194 ramp is Columbia Avenue, Main Street, and Dickman Road.
The detour for southbound I-194 will be the loop ramps for I-94 and northbound I-194 to Columbia Avenue.
These closures are part of the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) project to repair the M-96 bridge over I-194.
