Travel Advisory: I-94 lane and ramp closures in Calhoun County Oct. 1-4

There will be several lane and ramp closures on I-94 in Calhoun County from Tuesday, Oct. 1, through Friday, Oct. 4, as crews reopen lanes and ramps, as well as complete resurfacing operations.
There will be a single-lane closure on westbound I-94 from Partello Road Exit 112 to Old US-27 Exit 110 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1, while crews shift traffic to the proper lanes. The ramp from Old US-27 to westbound I-94 also will be reopening.
There will be a single-lane closure on eastbound I-94 from Helmer Road Exit 95 to Beadle Lake Road Exit 100 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2, for crews to shift traffic. During this closure, the ramp from eastbound I-94 to I-194 Exit 98 also will be closed.
There will be a single-lane closure on westbound I-94 from Beadle Lake Road Exit 100 to I-194/M-66 Exit 98 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 3, for a traffic shift. The westbound I-94 ramp at Beadle Lake Road Exit 100 also will be closed during this time.
There will be nighttime ramp closures, 8 p.m. – 6 a.m., from eastbound I-94 to southbound I-194 from Tuesday, Oct. 2, through Thursday, Oct. 4, while crews apply a high-friction pavement treatment to the ramp. During these nightly closures, traffic will be directed to use Beadle Lake Road Exit 100 and B Drive North to access southbound I-194 and M-66.
This is part of MDOT’s three-year, $160 million I-94 project.
