Recent rain pushes back US-127 BR resurfacing to Aug. 21 in Gratiot County

MT. PLEASANT Mich. - Recent rain showers have postponed resurfacing originally scheduled to begin today on US-127 Business Route (BR) from Crawford Street to M-46 (Washington Street) in St. Louis, Gratiot County. Now scheduled to begin this Wednesday, Aug. 21, work will include asphalt overlay, pavement repairs, structure adjustments, and permanent pavement markings.

Traffic restrictions:
Traffic will be maintained with lane closures, traffic shifts and flagging operations. This work is weather-dependent. No work will take place on Thursday, Aug. 22, due to the Old 27 Auto Tour taking place in St. Louis.

Based on economic modeling, this $181,000 investment is expected to directly and indirectly support two jobs.
