Travel Advisory: Eastbound I-94 single-lane and ramp closures in Calhoun County July 9 – Aug. 6

There will be a single-lane closure on eastbound I-94 between Helmer Road Exit 95 and Beadle Lake Road Exit 100 in Battle Creek, Calhoun County, for a traffic shift from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, July 9.
The traffic shift will allow crews to continue bridge work on I-94. For this work, two I-94 ramps at I-194 will be closed and detoured from Tuesday, July 9 through Tuesday, Aug. 6.
The southbound I-194 ramp to eastbound I-94 will be closed and detoured on southbound I-194, the Michigan Left south of B Drive North, then northbound I-194 to eastbound I-94.
The eastbound I-94 ramp to northbound I-194 will be closed on detoured on eastbound I-94, Beadle Lake Road Exit 100, and westbound I-94 to northbound I-194.
This work is part of MDOT’s three-year, $160 million I-94 project.
