Travel Advisory: Washington Avenue closing over I-94 in Berrien County June 20-21

The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is closing Washington Avenue over I-94 near Stevensville, Berrien County, to apply an epoxy overlay on the bridge.
The closure is Thursday, June 20, and Friday, June 21. Washinton Avenue traffic will be detoured during the closure, and access will be maintained to homes and businesses.
Northbound Washington Avenue will be detoured on Maiden Lane and Niles Road.
Southbound Washington Avenue will be detoured on Vineland Road, Lincoln Avenue, and Maiden Lane.
This work is part of the MDOT project to rebuild 8.5 miles of I-94 in Berrien County. Delays are anticipated on local roads, and motorists are advised to find an alternative route. Check Mi Drive for project details.
