Travel Advisory: Beadle Lake Road nighttime closures at I-94 May 21-23

The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will be closing M-294 (Beadle Lake Road) at I-94 in Emmett Township, Calhoun County, from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. Tuesday, May 21, through Thursday, May 23, to place new beams for the eastbound I-94 bridge. The ramp from eastbound I-94 to Beadle Lake Road also will be closed. This work is part of MDOT’s three-year, $160 million I-94 project.
The posted detour for Beale Lake Road will be on B Drive North, I-194, and Columbia Avenue.
The posted detour for the eastbound I-94 ramp will be at I-94 Exit 98 I-194. Traffic headed to northbound Beadle Lake Road will be directed to Columbia Avenue, and southbound Beadle Lake Road will be directed to B Drive North.
