Westbound I-696 closing overnight June 3 from M-53 to Mound Road in Macomb County for bridge repairs
CENTER LINE/WARREN, Mich. - Beginning 8 p.m. Saturday, June 3, through 8 a.m. Sunday, June 4, westbound I-696 will be closed for bridge repair between M-53 (Van Dyke Avenue) and Mound Road.
Westbound I-696 traffic will be detoured onto northbound M-53 (Van Dyke Avenue), then westbound 11 Mile Road to Dequindre Road. While the detour will take traffic west to Dequindre Road, traffic will also be able to re-enter westbound I-696 at Mound Road. The Michigan State Police will be assisting with the closure.
