I-96 bridge improvements begin in
Muskegon County
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Michigan Department of Transportation is investing $3.6 million to improve the I-96 bridges over Norris Creek and the I-96 bridge over Hile Road near Fruitport and Norton Shores in Muskegon County. Work includes deck resurfacing, substructure repair, new expansion joints, approach work, and steel beam repair.

Traffic restrictions:
Lane closures will be in effect on I-96. Hile Road will remain open for eastbound traffic, and westbound Hile Road will be closed and detoured using Airline, Sternberg, and Harvey roads.
