M-96 (Columbia Avenue) resurfacing
starts Monday in Battle Creek

PROJECT:
The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will be resurfacing 2.8 miles of M-96 (Columbia Avenue) from Helmer Road to Tyler Street in Battle Creek. The $1.4 million investment includes asphalt repaving, sidewalk ramp upgrades, and pavement markings.

The new pavement will improve safety and ride quality for motorists, and the sidewalk upgrades will improve safety and accessibility for pedestrians.
