Tomorrow's (Wednesday) ramp closures are scheduled in the following order between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m.:

1. Off ramp from northbound US-31 to Russell Road,

2. On ramp from Russell Road to northbound US-31,

3. On ramp from White Lake Drive to southbound US-31.

This schedule is subject to change due to weather and project progression: (Thursday's forecast calls for rain.)

Thursday, May 14: On and off ramps at the southbound US-31 and Russell Road interchange, and the on ramp from White Lake Drive to northbound US-31.

Friday, May 15: On ramps from M-120 to southbound US-31.  

This work is part of a $2.9 million project taking place along US-31 in Muskegon County. The project includes concrete patches on US-31 from Hile to Marquette in Muskegon, work at the Sternberg Rd to NB US-31 ramp, work at the SB US-31 to Airline Rd ramp and milling and resurfacing ramps along US-31 at M-120, Russel Road, White Lake Drive, and Colby.

The on ramp from Sternberg Road to northbound US-31 will be closed for construction through May 25.  Detour: North on Harvey Street and east on Hile Road to northbound US-31 at Airline Road.

The work is weather dependent.
