M-46 carpool lot at Hurds Corner Road in Tuscola County closed for resurfacing starting May 8

PROJECT:
The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will resurface the the M-46 carpool lot at Hurds Corner Road in Tuscola County. This work is part of an overall $3.5 million investment to resurface 17 miles of M-15 and M-46 in Genesee and Tuscola counties.

TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS:
This work will require closing the carpool lot from Friday, May 8, through Tuesday, May 12. This work is weather dependent.
SAFETY IMPROVEMENTS:
This work will improve the parking surface and extend the life of the carpool lot.
ESSENTIAL WORK:
This road construction project is an essential function. Transportation workers in the field follow Centers for Disease Control guidelines to limit their risk of getting sick.
