US-31 resurfacing in Antrim County starts May 11

PROJECT:
The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will invest nearly $1.5 million to resurface 5.7 miles of US-31 from Old Dixie Highway to south of Richardson Road in Antrim County.

TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS:
This work will require lane closures with traffic regulators.
SAFETY BENEFITS:
The project includes new shoulder rumble strips and pavement markings.
ESSENTIAL WORK: This road construction project is an essential function. Transportation workers in the field follow Centers for Disease Control guidelines to limit their risk of getting sick.
