US-131 bridge repairs over KL Avenue
in Kalamazoo start Wednesday

PROJECT:
The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will be resurfacing and repairing the US-131 bridge over KL Avenue and the Amtrak railroad. The $1 million investment includes nighttime and weekend work.

SAFETY BENEFITS:
This project will extend the life of the roadway and improve safety and ride quality.
TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS:
There will be nighttime single-lane closures on US-131. The ramp from Stadium Drive to northbound US-131 will be closed and traffic detoured on Drake Road and M-43. There also will be some intermittent total closures of KL Avenue with traffic detoured on 11th Street, Stadium Drive and Drake Road.
