Westbound I-94 lane closure between Lansing Avenue and Airport Road in Jackson on Wednesday

PROJECT:
The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will close the left lane of westbound I-94 between Lansing Avenue and Airport Road to move the temporary barrier and return all eastbound traffic to the eastbound side of I-94. This work is part of the ongoing I-94 Corridor Project.

TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS:
The US-127/West Avenue entrance ramps to westbound I-94 will be closed for short periods to accommodate work for this project. Lanes will be reopened by 3 p.m.
SAFETY BENEFITS:
These improvements will provide increased safety and mobility in this area of the I-94, which is a significant local, national and international trade corridor.
